2019 Reflections

Happy New Years Everyone!

2020 is here and ready to hit the ground running. An end to another decade. I didn’t feel the last decade when it ended probably because I was half way through high school and time wasn’t something I valued the way I do today. So many different meaningful events have happened in the last ten years that to put them all together in a simple list would belittle their importance.

Some of my favorite memories of this past decade were from living in Maine and meeting Janelle who quickly became my best friend to this day. I learned how to appreciate nature and fell in love with science all over again through UMM's amazing hands on learning formats. Then, I moved back to NYC and graduated from CCNY with my English degree, hoping it would be one step closer to becoming a professional writer and creating my first book manuscript. During that last year in college I create this amazing website, which means we will be completing our 5th anniversary in 2020! I joined the workforce, which had its ups and downs, but taught me so much about myself and how the world works.

Last year I had an emotional rollercoaster with my romantic life, but it all turned out for the better, which honestly makes me feel that it was all worth it. I've met someone special and I hope the new decade brings us closer together and stronger as a couple. Through him I found my dream job as an Urban Park Ranger, and so far I have loved every second of my new career. To wrap it all up, at the beginning of November 2019, I finally moved out from Mom's and I've been living in my own apartment for the very first time. A place to call mine (until I can afford something better!).

I really look forward to 2020, and all the amazing things I know this new decade will bring. My health was worrisome last year, and I made many changes which have helped so much. I plan to stick to them and even improve upon them as I learn more ways to become healthier and more active. I know the next 5 years towards reaching my 30th birthday will be life changing and I can't wait to experience them with all of you my Mystical Readers. Stay tuned for my wild adventures and all spontaneous writing creations. Thank you for supporting me these past few years and for sticking around. Cheers for many more years of content coming your way!
