Do you believe in Karma?
Does every action and choice you make cause a ripple in the waters of your future? Is it the big choices, or does every breath truly matter? Could you imagine if we had some kind of meter on our watch that tracks our "Karma Levels". I bet more people would act a lot kinder and thoughtful in their choices if it were something that could be measured.
But then the question would become, would it come genuine or would good deeds only occur because they want good energy in their future? Perhaps there isn't a clear answer since it will vary from case to case. Every person is unique in their way of thinking and in being. Personally, I believe in karma. I try to do the right thing, not because I hope to cash out some kind of reward at the end of the journey, but because I know my decisions will haunt me if I do the wrong thing. There have been moments when I was much younger, where I was reckless or hurtful to others, and it wasn't until I was older when those choices came back to hurt me.
I had to mature in order to understand that every action has an equal reaction. Might not be an obvious reveal when the time comes, but when you look back, you tend to notice the key moments in your timeline. Choices have a funny way of coming back to bite you. I don't think I've done too many things I could truly say I'm not proud of, but there are many moments where I wish I had done a little more. Offer to help someone in need, hold the door for someone that's rushing behind you, share your meal with someone that forgot theirs. All of these are small things that slowly add up and make up who you are as a person.
"Kindness is choosing love over hate, light over darkness, compassion over judgement."
Maybe if we try to fulfill one act of kindness a day, and send that positive energy into the universe, it can make the world a better place. We are selfish creature most of the time. Every time I watch the news, I feel drained with all the hatred and loss that occurs daily. I don't think one person can change all that, but maybe you can change this in your own life. Cause a chain reaction; inspire those around you to be kind and maybe one day, the world will be kinder for it. What you send out into the world, will eventually come back to you. So why not treat others the way you would like to be treated?
That’s the dilemma!
If Karma exists it would mean that; the people who believe in it; only do good things because theyre scared of the bad things that could happen if they dont. Not because they genuinely have kindness in their heart
